The Multi-Climate Protection System (MCPS) offers

flexibility through multiple layering options that

achieve a personal level of comfort in a variety of

environmental conditions. MCPS provides flame,

thermal, and environmental protection, as well as

penetration resistance to POL contaminants.

By using the modular layering system, this lightweight

garment ensemble delivers optimal performance in

temperatures ranging from 70°F down to -40°F.

To achieve the proper balance between protection and

comfort, all garment components and styles must be

carefully chosen and evaluated.

MCPS is constructed from a flame-resistant

Nomex fabric, a highly breathable and a Nomex fabric

The high breathability of the MCPS minimizes the risk of heat
