SPH-5 C Single Visor Housing Kevlar or Fibreglass

The Aeromiltec SPH-5 Helicopter helmet provides superior protection and

comfort in a lightweight design. Its high-strength, lightweight Para-Aramid

and reinforced with epoxy resin shell, it includes a polystyrene

energy-absorbing liner and a comfortable fitting system.

The wide yoke-style retention system stabilizes the helmet and can be

adjusted for optimum  fit with the chin and nape straps. Crushable

sound-attenuating earcups screen out excessive noise levels.

The visor systems include optically correct, abrasion-resistant,

polycarbonate lenses that protect the eyes from glare, wind,

and dust. Is available standard with NATO or Gen.Aviation comm at

extra charge. Is deliverd in sizes Regular and XL.

Aeromiltec SPH-4 was the most commonly used helmet in the international marketplace.

Aeromiltec still supplying the standard configuration in O.D.color with NATO commset, 24 inch coiled or straight cordset, in sizes Regular or XL. The helmet shell is a high-strength, lightweight  reinforced fibreglass . Rubber edge beading covers the peripherals of the shell.

Inner Liner

The energy-absorbing liner we deliver with is either the Zeta comfort liner or the rigid polystyrene molded to conform to the inside of the helmet shell.  Each lightweight earcup assembly consists of a contoured plastic earcup and a cushioned earseal (with a raised inner ring for maximum sound attenuation and comfort).

Communications

The communications system consists of a boom-mounted microphone M-87/AIC or Electret Mic , dual earphones, and a communications cord. A flex boom is available as an upgrade.process. The single visor option is also the single feature available. Aeromiltec can deliver also the ANR version of this helmet.

Customization
Each helmet can be designed and/or configured with a variety of different features: earphones, wire or flex boom microphones, communications cords/plugs, communication earplugs, and ANR (Active Noise Reduction). Other upgrade accessories are available upon request.
