Integrated LPU-38/P - CMU-33/P USN


The Type CMU-33A/P22P-18 AirSave Survival Vest is standard issue for U.S. Navy and Marine helicopter non-ejector aircraft aicrews.

United States Marine Corps (USMC) Type CMU-33/P22P-18 Survival Vest; green nylon mesh with green nylon horizontal reinforcing tapes; zipper down front; integrated green nylon extraction straps; olive brown flashlight with brown elastic nylon straps attached to left breast.

The vest is designed to carry also PRC-112  or PRC-90-2 or SARBE-7 PLB's
,Survival Equipment , Flares and Strobe Light .


One upper right olive brown nylon pouch with snap closure flap for signal flares (all pyrotechnics removed); three lower right olive brown nylon pouches with snap flap closures (pouch 1 contains a compass with a nylon wrist band attached with white lanyard;

pouch 2 contains a sea dye marker in yellow rubberized pack on a white nylon lanyard, one black plastic signal whistle, and one signal mirror; pouch 3 contains a clear nylon water bottle and emergency instruction in plastic cover both attached with white nylon lanyard); white nylon manufacturer's tag on right inside of vest.

The survival accessories pouch including SRU-31/P tactical airman and medical survival kit, SRU-39/P water activatedstrobe light , miniflares MK-3 pack, lensatic compass, whistle , torch , signal mirror,and other Government specified accessories .
USAF INTEGRATED Survival Vest & Torso Harness

Aircrew Vest had been developed purposefully for the USAF Aircrew members. It is a multi-pocket  load-bearing, utility vest of modular attachment system that allows easy reconfiguration for different missions and situations. The Aircrew Vest comes standard with:

The vest base is made of high strength Raschel® knit mesh that is hardwearing and fire retardant . The vest is constructed with two permanent on-seam hand pockets with tabbed snap closures, and two zippered inside low profile pockets.

 

Each pocket is constructed of high-strength, fire retardant polyester. The gear pockets include sewn-in-place lanyard attachment loops, have zipper and snap closures, and have affixed one or more male  attachments. These attachments allow for the removal/attachment of all pockets on the vest. The vests come with eight removable pockets, a holster and other apparatus carriers.



The vests come in two sizes, Small/Regular and Regular/Large and are adjustable at the shoulders and waist. These vests combine with Rescue, Restraint, and Torso Harness and personal flotation devices such as LPU-9/P , LPU-37 and LPU-38/P collars .

Aviation Survival Vest, SRU-21/P

The SRU-21/P Survival Vest is a lightweight vest for stowage of survival equipment for aircrewmen. Made of a sturdy nylon mesh netting, the vest consists of twelve nylon pockets, ten on the outside and two on the inside. There is an optional leather pistol holder which may be attached to the left side of the vest. Weapon must be specified when ordering the optional holder. A separating type slide fastener, located in the front, closes the vest. It comes on following options :

  • Nomex with standard US MIL survival equipment
  • Nylon with standard US MIL survival equipment



The vest is designed to carry

The lacing found on the back of the 
vest allows for size adjustment.

The leather perspnal weaon holder and survival knife are attached to the left side of the vest. Weapon must be specified when  ordering the optional holster. A separating type slide fastener, located in the front, closes the vest.

       SV-2B USN Survival Vest 

Manufactured in sage green rugged nylon duck but also optional in fire resistant 
Nomex III the SV-2B is constructed to be integrated to the USN standard 
Life Preservers LPU-23B/P  LPU-37/P, LPU-38/P and LPU-24D/P. 

It integrates a heavy duty front zipper while internal pockets are 
protected by large zippered closures . The SV2B comes with knife 
sheath and personal weapon holster MIL-V-81523
